Painting Parties

I do painting parties!  These fun parties are a great way for friends, family, and colleagues to laugh and enjoy a few hours together.  Take a look at some of the projects we’ve done!

I craft my painting parties for beginners as well as professionals.  Our time together typically consists of an hour to an hour-and-a-half of painting, followed by food and drinks (I have been known to bring a bottle of my husband’s famed, premium, homemade beverages) while the first layer of paint dries, and then we settle in for the second and final round of painting which is about as long as the first.  You can put as much detail and energy into your painting as you like!  I simply guide you along your journey.

Rates for painting parties vary, depending on the location, the size of the painting, and the number of participants.  All painting supplies are included!  I do my best to be flexible, so don’t be afraid to ask questions!  Standard rates are below:

Canvas Size
8×10 11×14 16×20
1-5 people $25 $30 $35
6-10 people $22 $27 $32
11+ people $20 $25 $30

Art Lessons

Throughout the year, I travel to local homes, offering art lessons to several local students.  Here’s some of 1st and 2nd grade work we’ve done:

Let me know if you or someone you know is interested in taking art lessons.  Rates for lessons vary, depending on the location, but the standard rates, per student, are  below:

  • Lesson Cost: $15/hr for one student or $13/hr per student for two or more students per hour
  • Art Supply Cost: $25-$50 in art supply costs per student, per year, depending on how many students share supplies and what projects you are comfortable doing.  The cost and order of the supplies is independent of the lessons; I simply suggest supplies and retailers to students and parents.

Extended travel may cause a minimal increase in the lesson cost rate.
